Is Nissan windshield replacement covered by insurance?
Usually, yes. If your auto policy was issued in Florida and includes comprehensive coverage, Florida Statute 627.7288 says the deductible doesn't apply to windshield damage — so a new windshield for your Nissan is typically $0, with camera calibration normally included in the claim when your vehicle needs it.
You also choose the shop: under s. 627.7291 your insurer can't require a particular glass company. Want to know what it costs without coverage? See our windshield replacement cost guide.
Why we ask for your VIN
The same model can use several different windshields depending on year and options — camera brackets, rain and light sensors, heated or acoustic glass, and head-up display zones. Your VIN tells us exactly which one your Nissan needs, so we bring the right glass the first time.
Nissan windshield FAQ
Is Nissan windshield replacement free in Florida?

Do you calibrate Nissan cameras on site?
Yes. If your Nissan has a camera behind the windshield, we calibrate it on site right after the new windshield is installed — no dealer visit needed.
How long does a Nissan windshield replacement take?
Most replacements take about 60–90 minutes, plus calibration time when needed. Your technician will tell you the safe drive-away time for the adhesive used.
